Ok, so I promised I would try to dredge up more ideas, so here goes...
The Vex Leviathan

On Venus, evil stirs...
Patrolling the burnt tropics of Venus, we frequently spot the data conduits littering the billion year old ruins. Those bars of light that attest to... Something you can't quite grasp. Ghost can see more, and decides to try sifting through the xenottobytes of data streaming past every second. Diving into the stream, ghost keeps a steady update.
But so does something else. This is precious data, not easily parted with, and the caretaker of the vex mind is displeased at your intrusion. This is a threat, a challenge to be taken up immediately... And dealt with permanently. You scoot around Venus, scanning for a location. You can pick it up in the caverns beneath you, moving from one data source to another, searching for you as you search for it, and every data stream seems to bring you closer. Suddenly, the much anticipated, yet dreaded call.
"Got it. You may want to move back."
Connect to the same data stream as it, and it will come charging out of caves, caverns, gorges, even vex gates. Whatever is closest to you.
Built? Grown? Or even a testament to time immemoriam, this thing is the stuff of nightmares. A mass of legs and bristling with every manner of electronic instrument. Think black widow, robotic, about 20 more legs with a body the size of a skiff alone (and just as ugly). And it's PISSED.
The first danger to notice is this thing's speed. It will dart across the battlefield far faster than any of you. So give it distractions. Use your sparrows. Use your glides. Keep it flitting from target to target.
It's weaponry is startlingly basic. A laser mounted on it's underbelly whines, builds, and spits out the fires of creation, immolating three guardians in a blink, those unlucky enough to not spot the warning. Scatter guns pick away at shields and hammer into the sides of rabbiting sparrows.
But by far the most deadly danger is what has come to be known as the Temporal Transition, or "T-Time", coined by some of the European guardians. This monstrosity has the ability to swap in its own timeline. That is, it will physically change places with a past or future version of itself. It has fought countless battles, using this switch to save and survive. Be prepared for anything, as the Temporal field is unstable. It will drag with it anything it may have been fighting at the switch. So in the blink of an eye, you may find yourself suddenly fighting the same screeching horror, only this one is ablaze with skiff-fire napalm. Or an ogre, locked in battle. Or a full compliment of Cabal.
Be watchful. Be prepared. Anything too close to the leviathan at the switch is lost to time.
You can blind it, you can wound it, you can blast off a leg, and it will die. But be prepared - the Temporal versions may have these injuries or they may differ, but they are just as dangerous. Use this knowledge to your advantage. Find the device that allows the transition, and destroy this creature. For good.

Comments VERY much appreciated.

First off i want to say they way you put this forward lets me really envision how it would play out, it is very descriptive and i like that. It almost as if i am reading a script for a cutscene. This is fantastic and i really like the addition of a never before seen Vex enemy. This is superb work. And in reading this you could say wow that looks both fun and challenging. Thanks for your continued ideas and support. I read this first thing when i woke up, and only waited till now to comment as i wanted to really digest it.
