I kind of hope that android either makes an appearance or is referenced in some way, since 4 is taking place where those androids are apparently made.

There are other androids but not the specific one from fallout 3, also this is a post from before the game came out and so before we knew synths were a common theme.

What if there is a mission where we help an android escape the commonwealth to find a doctor in a place called Rivet City? How crazy would that be?

That would be a problem since that happened around 2277, and I believe Fo4 is somewhere around 2285-2290.

I thought they take place in the same year? Fallout 3 is 2277 Fallout 4 starts on october 23rd, 2077 Then zooms to 2277
