He has not announced anything and it is likely a retroactive response given that he did not just say it after the EuroGamer interview. Instead he said we have something to say in the next News update. To me he might as well have said "we did not have anything planned now but in response to community outrage we will have something on Thursday".

Doesn't sounds like he is going to give more than promised (a sparrow, shader, and emblem big woop) just that he was going to explain more.

Still doesn't state it is any different than previously indicated. Just that he thinks that what they are offering is "better" could be he THINKS that a sparrow, shader and emblem are "better"....and with the promises of old I won't believe it until I see it.

It seems like that statement was in reaction to the negative feedback though. Now if they had announced that when they revealed the collector's edition, then there wouldn't be such a big stink.
