So Thorn is completely and utterly broken and it is ruining my Crucible experience. So in protest of the Trials being filled with Thorn spammers I am boycotting it. I already skipped it this week and I did not miss it. If you wish to join me that is great if not thats your choice, if your just going to say that I suck or that I should get "skills" you can go fornicate with an iron stick.
P.S. Remember Bungie has a fetish for everyone doing everything and using everything so not doing or using something will cause them to freak out.
Edit: I am adding my suggestions on how Thorn and TLW can be balanced without giving them the AR treatment. Both guns need to have Perfect Balance removed and Thorn also needs to loose Send It. Thorn should also get either its damage or its RoF slightly lowered, also its damage over time should be lowered to 5 if its damage is unchanged however to compensate the DoT should deal double damage against minions of the Darkness. TLW should have its range statistic actually match with its range as it is currently much higher then shown (personally I do not have a problem with the current range it just needs to be shown).

I hate how people adress thorn as the reson ToO and Crucible sucks, because that's only a fraction of the reason. All exotic handcannons aside from Hawkmoon are unjustly more unique than any other exotic in the game, and it makes them the go-to primary weapons in crucible. They both need to be inspected, not just thorn. Yes, there are counters to these guns, but those guns aren't nearly as powerful as the others. For example: I use the Multi-Tool in crucible a lot, and it works well against thorn (you can't kill what you can't hit lol), but the Last Word guns anyone down because of that fire rate. Bad Juju is a good compliment, since it hits like a truck, but there's no way for it to stop Thorn or TLW. Lastly, map choice. For trials, they need to have well-balanced maps in the rotation. Also (and this is just my two cents), I think teams should swap sides every round: it would make it more interesting and give both sides the same advantage. However, it would also put an element of strategy into the matches: if you like side A better, heavy round is next, you're 2-0 in the match, and you'll spawn on side B for said heavy round, you might purposely want to lose that round just so you can be more comfortable with our heavy spawn.
