Omigosh. Stop defending abhorrent behavior. Anyone who has worked with people knows when people are upset, it's the worst possible time to go full-on smart ass. Luke was wrong in the interview, period. He came off like the love child of Nancy Grace and Bill O'Reilly.
Maybe DeeJ has a hard job, but he makes it harder than it has to be. There is nothing conciliatory about his interaction with the community. His attitude is "I know what you want" and "take it or leave it". It doesn't matter how upset people get, he gets his jollies trolling them it seems.
So people are mean to him. So sometimes they deserve a slap. You can't do it. Every one of us goes about our adult lives meeting people who could use a firm slap. We can't do it either, and we don't. There are consequences.
In the interview, Luke behaves as if he was impervious to customer feedback. He spoke like he didn't give a crap, and for all I know, he doesn't. Seems like he's on the same bowling team as DeeJ, I guess.
