Eurogamer: I'm not going to mention them again. I can't get them.
Luke Smith: But you can if you buy the Collector's Edition.
Eurogamer: I'm not going to buy the game and the two DLCs all over again.
Luke Smith: Okay, but first I want to poke at you on this a little bit.
Eurogamer: Poke at me?
Luke Smith: You're feeling anxious because you want this exclusive content but you don't know yet how much you want it. The notion of spending this money is making you anxious, I can see it -
Eurogamer: I do want them. I would buy them -
Luke Smith: If I fired up a video right now and showed you the emotes you would throw money at the screen.
Eurogamer: What I'm saying is that fan frustration is not because they don't understand the proposition. It comes regardless of how cool the exclusive content is. The frustration - and mine as a fan - is that the method of acquiring it requires me to re-buy content I bought a year ago.
Luke Smith: [Long pause] It's about value. The player's assessment of the value of the content.
I cant wait for a new game to replace Destiny. Almost 900 hours of my life supporting a company with a weak moral compass. ya I -blam!-ed up playing destiny so much, I should have listened to everyone telling me that this game was, and is a waste of money.
At least I can honestly say that I am completely checked out. I am sad to admit it, but purchasing any sequel to Destiny will be very hard knowing how Bungie runs their company.
(TLDR) I was bamboozled into liking Destiny.

Edited by PanthersHuddle: 6/22/2015 11:16:21 PMI expected an epic story and an awesome journey with space exploration.. I wanted to meet interesting characters in game that I could actually have a fondness for, like Garrus and Tali, Wrex and Mordin and Grunt... Like Vol'jin and Cairne Bloodhoof. I wanted a faction to be proud of, like the Horde or the Alliance. I wanted quests and to be rewarded for my exploration and encouraged to spend time within the game. I wanted my own ship to embark on some epic voyage across the stars -not just a loading screen... Instead... I got just another Bungie shooter. This game could have been so much more. BUNGIE could have been the pioneers of a new genre of Mmorpg games. Instead, they likely set an Mmorpg shooter back a few more years...
