I really had to think about this thread because I understand that Off topic is filled with extremely intolerant people especially republicans.
...but putting that aside, I'm going to post my opinion on veganism.
First of all, veganism signifies not consuming any animal and/or animal byproduct. The reason why veganism shouldn't be an option, and the whole American populous should become vegan is for the sole purpose of being healthy, more aware of the food consumed, and stop animal deaths. Yes, meat should be banned from the states.
Before you go bashing me, remember that there is a positive correlation with veganism and intelligence. Not only will the U.S. be more intelligent, but animal farms would be banned, no more animal deaths, the average American would lose more weight, and we can come up with state of the art technology to increase crop yield organically and sustainably. This would be a huge step for human progress, and this would make the U.S. more intelligent.
But that's only IF you repubtards allow the government to ban meats, so we can progress as a whole.
This is the second time I'm posting this, not sure if u didn't see or if ur just scared I'm personally not vegan and I'm sure as hell not republican but from an economical stand point it makes no sense to outlaw meat, and from a logical standpoint free animals means more breeding and WAY less room than we have now. Finally to address your point on intelligence, I believe that intelligent people become vegan due to a grater sense of self awareness in which translates to more empathetical thoughts. so in conclusion no, becoming vegan will not make people smarter and the economical effects of banning meat in America would be so negative it would outweigh the very little benefits.
