I really had to think about this thread because I understand that Off topic is filled with extremely intolerant people especially republicans.
...but putting that aside, I'm going to post my opinion on veganism.
First of all, veganism signifies not consuming any animal and/or animal byproduct. The reason why veganism shouldn't be an option, and the whole American populous should become vegan is for the sole purpose of being healthy, more aware of the food consumed, and stop animal deaths. Yes, meat should be banned from the states.
Before you go bashing me, remember that there is a positive correlation with veganism and intelligence. Not only will the U.S. be more intelligent, but animal farms would be banned, no more animal deaths, the average American would lose more weight, and we can come up with state of the art technology to increase crop yield organically and sustainably. This would be a huge step for human progress, and this would make the U.S. more intelligent.
But that's only IF you repubtards allow the government to ban meats, so we can progress as a whole.
this guy is serious.

Edited by Tastycow5: 6/22/2015 8:46:34 PMWait you're serious??
I HOPE YOU LIKE MY NAME
-blam!- that, give me more cows, I'm hungry
-
Hey if they are dumb enough to go vegan then let them. Natural selection
-
-
I've always been worried how vegans can survive with such a limited diet. But then I realized that they just feed off attention. Now excuse me while I go to my local diner and eat a good old fashioned "Michelle Obama don't tell me what to eat or feed kids burger." With extra slaughtered animals
-
OP is vegetarian fig
-
-
Why it shouldn't be an option? Meat is amazing.
Meat should be banned.
-
Also, because raising animals for food is extremely bad for the ecosystem, and we consume them in excess, causing a slew of health disorders.
-
Before you go bashing me, remember that there is a positive correlation with veganism and intelligence.
Does that include knowing what "correlation" is?
-
Vegans arn't human
-
-blam!- off liberal. Don't feed me your BS
-
Edited by Mina: 6/22/2015 1:32:45 PMI'm vegan for 210 days of the year and I can honestly say you really feel the health difference. Edit: Though I don't like what your saying, meat is amazing.

Good idea! Let's take away more free will and the ability to make decisions
-
Go away.
-
This has to be satire. Surely you aren't that incompetent.
-
You don't have to be vegan to lose weight. You don't have to not be vegan to gain weight. It's not just about what you eat, it's also how much you eat. A vegan can become overweight and stay a vegan, and vice versa. I'm of average weight for my height and age, and I eat generally unhealthy foods. That said, that could be a combined working of the frequency as well as a high metabolism. Furthermore, I'd like to point out that (based on a test administeted by professionals), I am a very intelligent person. I am not a vegan. I have never been a vegan. Could I be an outlier? Absolutely. That said, I think my point still stands.
-
veganism tends to have a more intelligent group of people, thus veganism signifying an increase in intellectual capacities.
You have got to be fuсking kidding me. That is correlation. Assuming that you're even right about this, you're ignorant to the fact that more variable exist than just veganism. If you are smart as you claim then you should understand this: People who go to country clubs are richer than people who don't This is a parallel statement to vegans being smarter than non vegans Therefore going to a country club will make you richer. This is like you saying that being vegan makes you smarter As you can see the country club statement is illogical, just as it parallels your statement both are illogical. Being a vegan does not make you smarter. That is a fact.

It's nearly impossible to get enough protein among other things if you don't eat meat. That might not be a problem for you but lots of people Have fairly active jobs and actually require meat to function.
-
I only know one vegan and she is a cünt vegan feminazi animal rights bitch and because of her I hate all of those things
-
Sure. Let's just -blam!- up the ecosystem with the mass saving of these animals.
-
As much as you are right with what you say, unfortunately, even vegetables are fertilized with bone meal... So not even the vegetables we eat are vegan friendly... I'm vegetarian btw.
-
I hope you're kidding. If not, then I look down on you and laugh at your beliefs.
-
But if we only eat vegan then gmos will kill us all!
-
Tell that to guy people to stop eating meat.
