I really had to think about this thread because I understand that Off topic is filled with extremely intolerant people especially republicans.
...but putting that aside, I'm going to post my opinion on veganism.
First of all, veganism signifies not consuming any animal and/or animal byproduct. The reason why veganism shouldn't be an option, and the whole American populous should become vegan is for the sole purpose of being healthy, more aware of the food consumed, and stop animal deaths. Yes, meat should be banned from the states.
Before you go bashing me, remember that there is a positive correlation with veganism and intelligence. Not only will the U.S. be more intelligent, but animal farms would be banned, no more animal deaths, the average American would lose more weight, and we can come up with state of the art technology to increase crop yield organically and sustainably. This would be a huge step for human progress, and this would make the U.S. more intelligent.
But that's only IF you repubtards allow the government to ban meats, so we can progress as a whole.
At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

You're right being a vegan shouldn't be a option. Carnivores, and omnivores all day!
-
positive correlation with veganism and intelligence.
Einstein was only a vegetarian until the last year of his life. He certainly wasn't thick.

Not eating meat doesn't just make you smarter. It doesn't work like that. Eliminating meat would remove an essential part of the job market and the U.S. Economy.
-
Asians are hella smart and they eat meat.
-
Thank goodness. I'm not the only one pointing out how intolerant this forum is

If this ever where to become a law just remember Canada will welcome all you meat lovers :)

Republicans Murder is wrong! (Abortion) Eats eggs and bacon in the morning.

Correlation does not imply causation. Veganism and intellect are correlated because smart people often become wealthier than uneducated people (which creates an evil cycle of poverty) and wealthy people have options, including veganism. Poor people, on the other hand, may have to buy non-vegan fast food in order to avoid starvation, resulting in a positive vegan-education correlation. Furthermore, humans are omnivores, and evolved to hunt and kill. Although beans can replace meat in a diet when counting nutrients, human bodies are complex and veganism has not existed long enough to do detailed longitudinal studies to determine just how much unhealthier a no-meat diet is. The question, then, is why veganism is better than an omnivorous diet, even if there are no health detriments. And please, no "animal ethics" excuses. People that could choose veganism can also vote with their wallets by buying free range meat with no added hormones. Another problem with your plan is that many economies (like Argentina's and several states in the U.S.A.) function on agriculture, including meat. What plans do you have to stabilize all the crashes that happen when you outlaw a carnivorous diet? All this is argued from a straight economics point of view. If you bring up ethics despite my request that you not, since your plan is already unfeasible, I will not respond to you, since you've proven inconsiderate enough to insult an entire political party (of which I am not a member) and then can't be bothered to respond to my question. I only want rebuttals from a political, economic, or social viewpoint.

Becoming a vegan doesn't make you more intelligent, that statistic is because the majority of vegans are people in the left-wing, myself included, and the right is populated by the elderly with dementia and rednecks...and people who don't support abortion.

This is what I mainly eat except with some fish or some chicken added to the list

Ugh. The world is blind. Another government lie. If you want to know the truth about healthy eating then please look at what a paleo lifestyle consists of (not any vegetarian or vegan. Just paleo.)
-
Think of the jobs, raisers, butchers, farmers, that guy who has to spread bull seman to get good beef cows, all those jobs lost.

As long as I keep the Mountain Dew and Doritos

Shitpost is very shitty.

I propose a mandatory strictly canibalistic diet.

Correlation has nothing to do with causation you dolt.

You're right, it shouldn't be an option
it should be outlawed.
You tried. A world without meat is a world I don't want to live in

6,999,999,999 bacon eaters want to slap you to hell

Studies show plants can feel pain too

You are mad. Life can only exist by the destruction of other life, and you seek to break the cycle over mere sentimentality? Fool of a mortal.
US will become more intelligent.
Now that's a thought. The burger-monkeys becoming intelligent. Ha! Quite a funny one. Jeeves! Get me another glass of wine please.
