I'd like to put in my two cents, if no one objects. There is a reason Bungie has yet to add an optional matchmaking feature to endgame content: money. Something like that takes time and a lot of money to develop. And Bungie isn't willing to spend the money. Why did they leave Microsoft? So they could get more money. Why did they join Activision? So they could get more money. Why does the game lack good story content? It all boils down to money. We want matchmaking, we need matchmaking, we are begging for matchmaking. But the current business model at Bungie has an emphasis on money, which means we'll only get the things we want and need it they're cheap. Sad, yes, but it seems to be true.
