Dude gave a good response. The level of anger people are taking to this is unreal. So what, it's a class item? They were trying to do something nice for new players to draw them in. This community is way too entitled. Do I wish we got a little something extra? Yes. But this is in no way a betrayal of biblical proportions that a lot of members of this community are making it out to be. if you want to collect everything, go play pokemon, if you want pvp with no over the top guns go play cod. If you want to put up extra money for all the collectors stuff, have at it, nobody will judge you. I'll be happy with my 40$ expansion, along with a lot of the silent minority of the community.

While it was a good answer I feel like the community (or a majority) is pretty tired of getting ripped off price wise especially when it comes to the game that was actually promised (look at the first videos on bungies own YouTube channel and just there you can see way too much cut content). So when it comes to more dlc and not having perks given to their community of course everyone is going to go mental.
-
Well, now ripped off can be looked at differently. I've logged a few hundred hours, I can't even start to make that claim. Now, TDB was lacking in a lot of ways and HoW has everyone split on whether or not it came through. (Personally, I was ready to give up on the franchise, but this made me excited to see what's next ) Now, for 40 were getting a huge expansion with more strikes, story, locations, and a raid. Now, whether or not it's up to everyone's standards has yet to be seen, and that too will be debatable. As far as "cut content" goes, I think anyone who throws that out loses credibility. The first look at Destiny is different, but that was subject to change. Over the course of a year and a half, there is a lot that could be changed, not necessarily "cut". ideas were scrapped and some of them were used later, but nothing was directly cut from the game and boxed up and resold as a lot of people want to unsustainably claim.

We're entitled to crap that bungie should be putting into the game. We paid them to have good content. They delivered s***.
-
Well "shit" is a relative term. You got what they advertised, now whether or not you liked it is dependant on your experience and in no way entitles you to anything extra.
-
They advertised a good game. I did not get a good game
-
Well, that's your opinion and you're entitled to that opinion. Sounds like the ad team did their job. But you got what they advertised, the fact you didn't like it isn't their fault.
-
It is my opinion but a significant number of people will agree with me

Edited by brOwniiez: 6/21/2015 5:59:35 AMThey advertised a raid in HoW, how do I unlock it? Oh.
-
In the description where it was advertised, it also said something along the lines of "subject to change" so at best it was misleading. They also announced a month prior to release there would no longer be a raid and that was being replaced with the Prison, which it was.
-
That would be correct except they then went on to say "the raid will be released later this summer". Which is has not been and doesn't look like it will be. It was a lie. I have seen a few try to say the TTK raid is this raid but it's clearly not. The HoW raid would be fallen oriented (where we were supposed to get the VD347 I assume) and this TTK raid is clearly not fallen oriented.

April 19th in their update, they said later in the year not the summer. The HoW raid couldn't be ready for launch like planned. They let us know a month and a half ahead of time. They are releasing another raid, as promised, later in the year. Will it be the one they were working on earlier? Probably not, since as you pointed out TTK focuses on the Taken and not the fallen. Will we ever see that raid? Maybe, maybe not.

They delivered cool shtuff :3

Not for the price. Not at all.
