Ok guys... This is my first and probably last post in here, I don't really like to write too much, but today I'll do it for the sake of those who try to keep the game FUN and not thinking about it like is something too serious [just in case some people didn't noticed: If you die in the game you won't on real life].
Here is the thing; 1st. I suck at Crucible, I'm really aware of that. 2nd. I go in to have fun, not thinking about winning because if I do I end up going out mad [pretty normal eh?]. Leaving that clear, I can go to the main issue I would like to address.
Crucible Cowards, or lets just call them "Bad Losers" ... they really piss me off ...
When a Control game is going 15000 vs. 5000 and you are the team with the lowest score, you will start seeing on the bottom left corner of you screen that someone left the game, and "THAT" someone was on your team. Shortly after that someone else will leave too... leaving the rest of the team fighting a not so rightful war of 4 vs 6 or worst case scenario 3 vs. 6 and on and on...
COME ON! If you go in Crucible you have to learn that you go in with two bags, one for the wins and the other for when you lose. Leaving in a middle of a match because you are loosing is something only a CRAP PLAYER will do and no body likes it when you do. If you don't like loosing, make yourself a favor and don't even think about playing Crucible. If you don't mind loosing [because is just a game] please have fun and try your best on helping teammates [and yes, even when they are just random players].
As I said, I know I suck at Crucible, but so far I have never left a game because my team was being destroyed. I always try to keep going even when my K/D goes as low as 0.25 because I'm the only player left on the team and waiting for someone else to join in. BTW, I hate going in a match that already started! It's kind of unfair for both teams, doesn't matter if they are winning or loosing.
Stop being a coward or just quit Crucible.
Also, for @Bungie, I know now we have the chance to report this kind of players, but I wish that in some way it could be a little more easier to do and I wish I could see players like those being punished for the behavior. I don't play too often, I only do when I have spare time, so I would like to have quality matches free of this low life little rats cowards players [no offense, just a little mad here you know]...
Speak your mind and let everyone know what you think about those little bastards leaving in the middle of matches!

I often leave a match if the lag is too much to handle, don't want to waste my time on that. Not even looking at the scoreboard
-
Yeh I hate quitting, I'll rarely do it...I will however leave a match that has cheaters or terrible lag....I'd expect anyone to do that
-
Recently me and a couple of friends were destroying in control and after a few minutes it was a 1 vs 6. It was a complete gangbang of this level 5 or something newb who didn't know he could quit. I felt so bad I told everyone to stop bagging him. It annoys me because he did okay until everyone else left. Something like that is a huge discouragement to new players.

Prefiero morir de pie que vivir de rodillas. -Emiliano Zapata Salazar Directly translates into : I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees. It's a perfect quote for the situation and any situation concerning a competitive environment in which people quit without putting up a fight.
-
I never leave matches. There's always the rewards, the comebacks and of course the revenge kills. Never leave your team high and dry.
-
You know this happened once with my friend and I. We hopped in a game of Control and our team was losing by almost a 10K point margin. My buddy and I quickly take first and second place on our team for points and then it happened. Our team left, it was a party of 6 vs us two we're losing by about 8K points know so what do we do? We left because f**k that lmao.
What really happened is we charge point B and wiped out the team and took C from here it was a bloody battle we were 2000 points away from winning and then boom we get 4 more teamates the enemy racks up points quickly and we lose. It's really sad our own team was weighing us down
You must love shes my nerd kappa

No offense mate but people like you who aren't so great at crucible frustrate me like I might do well but I'll have a bad game because my teammates were completely useless
-
Edited by SmilyYellowFace: 6/23/2015 1:15:51 AMI only leave if any of the following happen: •My friends invite me to do something else •Serious lag •I finish my last bounty mid-game (kind of dickish) •I spawn into a game in progress, and get put on a badly losing team •I spawn into a game in progress, and get rocketed before I even draw my gun
-
Some players really care about their K/D, a bad team will only hurt that. That's why I think players leave. I'll only leave if I have to leave for some reason, or my group is ready to raid or pvp together.
-
I only quit in a few instances, I'm in there usually just doing bounties but if the match is super laggy, shots stop registering I leave for sure. Not trying to deal with that. And if I spawn in on a losing team and get killed by a heavy weapon when I come in I leave too.

I need help leveling up. I am level 14 on Venus and experienced. PSN is nucleareagles

Edited by queenmeeny77: 6/22/2015 9:35:01 PMI quit if I am laggy. I don't want to win that way. Most of my quits are because something is burning on the stove or a kid needs a band aid though. Real life happens. How do you separate that from rage quitters?
-
I never back out of Crucible games, even when my team is losing and everyone on my team has bailed I try to at least put up a fight and keep things going. I will always stick it out to the end just seems like good sportsmanship to me to finish what you started.
-
The only time I quit a match is if the alt team is populated by red bars. Generally speaking I don't care about the wins as much as improving my K/D ratio. If my team loses, we lose. However if one or more people are trying to manipulate the fight, then I'm not going to sit there and just keep dying.
-
Completely agree. I never quit a match after I've started playing. If i need to quit - will do so at start for whatever reason(extremely rare) Especially will never quit when the odds get stacked against and my side is taking a beating - other side is skilled/dudes on this side leave, etc. Have always been a solo player and as often happens get stacked up against teams dudes while this side has randoms. SO be it. Makes it better experience for me when the stakes are higher.
-
I play for fun, if the game ceases to be fun I leave. It's that simple really, I have probably left less than 10 games since week one of destiny but that's just how it is . Also my whole team could leave and it wouldn't bother me, I'm not going to report anyone or hope they get punished. Behavior like that is not from a person playing for fun.
-
I don't quit because you never know, you might get a exotic from that match also I don't give a flying -blam!- about KD I like to have fun in games not be super competitive
-
Il leave a game if I want I bought it Il do what I like Now f*ck off and stop telling us how to play
-
Edited by PlayerEliminator: 6/21/2015 4:28:40 PMYeah i'm going to stick around giving away kills hahahahahahah SHURE
-
Edited by BACTERIA SOUR: 6/21/2015 6:28:18 PMSorry bud, when I check signals and the other team has 2-4 people red barring and they are the top match players with ridiculous kd's I'm out. I won't be cannon fodder for their KD while running poor connections and/or outright cheating. Edit: I'm an old bastard for the record, not little either.
-
Losing is not fun, but it happens. You still get rewards for losing, but if you leave early you get nothing. What's the point of leaving? You may save your stats a bit, but your stats reflect the overall performance across all matches not just one crappy game
-
How do you know they didn't get kicked from the lobby?
-
unless I get disco'd, I'm in till the end. even done a couple IB matches @ 1V6 ... one where the other team thought it was cool & hung out till a couple more where MMd in, another where it was just slaughter ( with hate mail for wasting their, 6 man teams time ). I've also had 1 IB where I won it with 0 kills, 0 caps & 0 deaths.... was the only person who spawned in ( pretty sure it was my connection & I was host.)
-
It is very rare I leave on losing unless there is serious lag going on. When I get killed by someone, I would like them to not just appear next to me, then in my death cam I can see him jump elsewhere, suddenly be back then jump across the map. If there is two or three on the same team, I will leave. I'm not saying they are deliberately cheating but why waste my shots, super and heavy on someone who might not even be there on their map.
-
Those quitters cause a lot of grief for me. Nothing like loading up a crucible match to be thrown into a 6v4 slaughter for that lobby to be disbanded, and have the cycle start over again. I don't mind a close game, but getting dropped into a blowout is not fun.
