Real velociraptors were much shorter and smaller than the ones shown in JW, or any Jurrasic Park film for that matter. They were also not covered in scales but feathered.

The one scientist addresses that in Jurassic World. Straight up said that since all the "dinosaurs" had frog DNA and the like, they weren't "true dinosaurs" and that the real thing would probably look very different.

Thy didn't have the full set of DNA for any of the dinosaurs, so they filled in what they didn't have with animal genomes. Pay attention next time.

Feathers or lack thereof could be because of gene splicing (discussed in movie). And https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utahraptor Discovered during the filming of the first movie, retroactively applied as the actual velociraptor found in the movie. Noiselesspurse is right on this one.
