EDIT: Since Bungie are content with how they do things, placing a whopping $20 price tag on the cosmetics, (WTF) I am now only suggesting items for Veterans as they are the people hit most by this entire wreak of a marketing plan.
so here it is:
Veterans need to be 100% recognised for there contribution to Bungie and Destiny, along with the Shader, Sparrow and Lynx Emblem, I or We would like 2 of the following additions:
A new Ghost shell, tailored to the Black of the shader
A new Ship, tailored Black with racing stripes
A new Social space called Vanguard Refuge, housing a Cryparch with higher chances to roll better, a Postmaster and a Bounty board
A Class item for each class that doubles Experience gained, doubles Glimmer income and doubles Marks attained
p.s. the last 2 are trolls on my part
which 2 do you guys hope for, leave a comment and like, thank you
OP will be deleted in time: Dear Bungie
The Taken King collectors edition comes with Destiny and its 3 expansions and loads of goodies (Exotic class items, new Emotes, Shaders), why should the veterans have to buy Destiny and Expansions 1 and 2 again just to get them?
Should there not be a digital collectors edition that is only the Taken King along with the extras, why should the Vets have to buy the game again after our long standing support of your game?
this is my solution:
The Oryx Digital Edition
Inside is the following:
The Taken King
Exotic Class Items for Each class
3 Shaders
New Emotes for each class
Early Access Weapons Pack
The VIP items:
-Lynx Emblem
-Black Sparrow
-All Black Shader
(personally added) Black Ghost with Red Eye/Glow
that all for a reasonable Veteran's price of $45 to $60
I call that a great deal for the veterans, what do you think?
EDIT:
So far you offer us Veterans in your VIP deal is:
A Emblem
A all black Sparrow
And A all black shader
And what I or probably we would welcome added onto what you offer:
A all black ship shader
A all black ghost shell
A all black gun shader
A all black exotic gear shader
Moon walk emote
what you guys think?
if you like please bump this up and like, if you wish to comment please do, add your suggestions and thoughts, hopefully Bungie will respond

I couldnt agree more bungie are short changing the players that have been on this journey from the beginning who has grinded their asses off .
-
Am sure they have noticed the negative feedback but on a corporate level they will wait for the numbers to speak. Next two months there will be an advertising blitz and content reveals. if the pre-order numbers don't match up,they might consider either lowering the price or adding some more freebies for the veteran players. Just surprised that majority of the you tubers (barring planet destiny*) have not raised this issue. Are rest of them unofficial hype personnels or simply don't care ? (*In my limited knowledge; apologies if I am wrong) I will refrain from commenting on their business model but feel the veteran players deserve at least an official response on the legitimate apprehensions expressed. Cheers

45 USD in a proper exchange rate to Euro/Pound would be decent. The veterans don't need to repurchase the content they payed full price for already and get cut out of the content in form of digital items. 1s and 0s, why would they not give it to the vets? That's just screwed up.
-
$50 is fair. In Australia, it's au$70 just for the taken king and au$120 for the digital collectors edition. That's almost doubled the price in US.
-
To me it seems like they want nobody to buy destiny 2 or any of its expansions until they release the destiny 2 collecters edition for $60 in the future. If we get burned on this now I can guarantee that they will do this again.

bump for justice!

Bump. I think there should be a veteran deluxe edition for 60$ it's ridiculous to ask someone who's supported the game prior to pay for the game again to get new 'special' content. The first year players essentially created what the destiny community is, not to mention had a major influence on many patches put in place to make the game better. Disrespected is maybe the wrong word, but it felt shitty to be asked to pay for the game again plus some for 'special' content that's going to be appreciated vastly more by a first year player anyway.
-
Bump. But they should keep it $40. They know damn well they screwed us with all the hype before launch, they knew when they were hyping it that they were going to publish a shell of the game they were describing to us. They owe us one. $40 for TTK with all the goodies.
-
I believe the stand alone $40 TTK should be the deluxe edition for veterans and the $80 can stay the deluxe edition for newbies. That is more than fair. Having to pay $80 just like a newbie when they're getting the game and every expansion is completely f**ked.
-
I'm not paying $60 for an expansion. They can go fvck themselves.
-
Bump. Getting a response would be great. I await deej's attempt to justify this blatant cash grab.

Yes, and I think the price of the doc should be lower. Bungie are asking for the full price of a game, in the UK at least, for less strikes, patrols, and crucible maps than they put in originally. TTK at £25-30 All the exotic stuff emotes etc included for veteran players, no extra charge. And they get the veteran shaders sparrow etc., whilst those that buy the game anew do not get the year one shaders, sparrows or the exotic class items. You can let them get the class items through rngesus alone.

Bumping for great justice

I posted a poll before i read this see below address https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/132104973/0/0

Everyone that sees this should repost it just copy and paste bungie can't ignore that nor keep up with it

Well said. I think the name you picked is good and the price of $49.99 is reasonable. Expecting Those of us who pre-ordered the original game and all the expansins since then to have to buy it all over again to get the cool stuff is a bit rude. Should be super easy to fix this and make the "vets" happy.
