The Code of Conduct forbids personal attacks. But, naming them and showing proof is not an attack on their person, but rather an accusation that their actions were against the rules.
The Terms of Service have a similar sentence that forbids "defamation". However, defamation is defined as an UNTRUE publication or statement made by someone who knows or should have known that it was untrue. If you have video proof of someone sitting on a flag-capture point for 1 minute without taking damage, then it's not defamation.
So, I'd like to know exactly where I agreed to not post the name of a cheater. (Note, I did not sign any of the moderator posts agreeing to not do this as a condition of my membership.)
Please either modify the Code and/or Terms, or stop removing threads showing evidence of cheating.

Edited by GreenPaladin: 6/19/2015 8:46:39 PMHi Matt, Around the second paragraph, Bungie's ToS is states something to the effect of: By downloading or using any of our products or services you agree to all areas of our ToS. Secondly, posting Gamer names on the forums is reckless and dangerous. This is not a place for Vigilante justice and embarrassing players. Many gamers have been harassed over the years (wether cheating or not) in public online gaming. Some instances leading to depression and suicide from all the hateful and hurtful messages they receive. Do you or anyone else want to be responsible for setting a chain of events in motion that leads to someone taking their life? The best option is to Report in game and move on. If you really need to press the issue, post a video, leave the names out of the post, and move on.
