Let's start this out by saying It's ridiculous how shitty ARs are. I like using all types of guns personally... but the fact that my shadow price and SUROS have become completely dominated by my Thorn or (any decent scout) is not fun at all. In my experience in Trials at least 4/6 players use thorn per game (including my self) because it is so dominate over any AR yea it is a good weapon and fun to use but it ruins the point of having different guns for different situations. Now it's either scout or Thorn/TLW in any PVP situation. They broke what they tried to fix.. EDIT: Didn't even mention how pathetic they are in PVE, there is no situation PVE based where you'll be like oh shit I shoulda brought my Hard Light ( or any AR...... Any. ) for this raid/PoE/strike/nightfall/daily/ or even to patrol the cosmodrome for Christ's sake.
