A problem for many Destiny players, including myself, is how to manage gear. So I decided to find out some sort of system to help me and other guardians out. Keep in mind, this system works best for me, you may like it, you might not. Go ahead and modify it to whatever works for you.
PRIMARY WEAPONS:
(You should keep your exotic weapons PvP specific, like Thorn, TLW, Red Death, etc. Also, be sure to have primaries of varying ranges. A combination of a hand cannon and scout rifle/pulse rifle will do you well. Keep in mind, I really like having 3 empty slots for all my weapon classes, for engrams and new gear)
- Void Primary
- Solar Primary
- Arc Primary
- 3x Exotic Weapons
- 3 empty slots for engrams
SPECIAL WEAPONS
(You should run 3 snipers of varying elements and with either 2 shotguns and 1 fusion rifle or 2 fusion rifles with 1 shot gun. Your preference. I prefer to run a Void shotgun for minotaurs and arc for captains. Personally, I dont want to get that close to a witch with a solar shotgun, so I stuck with a fusion rifle.)
- Void Sniper
- Solar Sniper
- Arc Sniper
- Void Shotgun
- Arc Shotgun
- Solar Fusion Rifle
HEAVY WEAPONS:
Ghorn. Nuff said.
(^^^ Jk. You should run 3 Rockets and 3 Machine guns with they're corresponding elements. For me, I run 4 rockets and 2 machine guns.)
- Solar Rocket
- Arc Rocket
- Void Rocket
- Solar Machine Gun
- Arc Machine Gun
- Void Machine Gun
REPLACING A WEAPON:
- If you stumble upon a gun that can replace another gun because it has better perks/stats/power, then you should. Be sure that it is the same element, or you'll be in a pickle. Keep your old weapon while you level your new gun up. Once it's maxed, delete your old weapon. (You can keep it for sentimental value. I'll never dismantle you Shadow Price <3)
Hope this helps you out! Tell me what you think! Thanks.
