This is the hardest pill for most people to swallow. Your country (and most) still considers intellectual property as a foreign produced product by foreign employees who work for a foreign company. The UK doesn't care that it costs next to nothing to mass produce, and less than that to import across the ocean. There is no, and never was a free trade agreement between the U.S. And the UK.
