I believe my elder cipher might be bugged yet again. After waiting a week and one half after I originally got it to progress to where I loot from the chest to get the queen's cipher and return it to Variks, I am again playing the waiting game. It has been 72 hours and he has not yet progressed to the next step. I have restarted the game with fully closing out of it, switched characters, and still no success. The icon which shows I have a reward waiting is there, but the icon above Varik's head is not, nor does he have anything for me. Another concern. Every single PvE-specific exotic bounty contains a long wait phase. We either have to wait until we obtain and dismantle 10 rare fusion rifles, which can take several days unless you buy them from the gunsmith, we have to wait for Xur to come around to buy some random item, and finally now we have to wait for Variks to finish removing his fallen thumb out of his fallen gluteus maximus to progress. The other bounties which contain mostly PvP can be finished in a few hours to a day at most. Is there any way we could get this shortened or be able to give Variks some Adderall to speed up his work by doing strikes or something?
