Scam? You as joking right, this is economy 101.
You sell something at a inflated price,
eg the expansions.
Then build hype and sell if for a normal price to give the impression of a deal.
Eg taken king bundle.

Lol you act like you know it all but you clearly don't most companies don't use lies to boost sales on cut product. Now I know there's few out there that make a living on false ads (Bungie/ Activision)

Edited by GigabyteZ3r0: 6/18/2015 2:46:51 AMDear sir, how the hell did you get the impression that I know it all? My statement was a clear point of fact, a basic economical tactic. If you are referring to Bungie and saying that they have lied, I would direct you to all the statments that said "not the finished product". If the consumer wishes to make an assumption about a product you can not really hold the producer responsible. In order for something to be false it can not be partially true. All game ads are particularly true. The satement that Bungie and Activision make a living off false ads, is an exaggerated claim, they obviously make a living off of a strong business model that may not have the most sound moral standards.

Oh yeah man activison and Bungie have a strong business model in lying to there fan base.I can't believe you actually believe that crap, but hey you keep falling for activison and Bungie shady marketing scam

You seem to have missed rule number one in business, make money. Both Bungie and Activision are business and thus, they must be profitable in order to survive. Personally, I don't enjoy the vast majority of Activision products. But I am unable to get a similar product else where, which is the reason for me buying destiny and the expainsion pack. I also think you need to learn what a scam is. scam: A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle. Bungie is selling product, with double the content of the previous 2 expansions for double the price of each, or the combined price of both. Seems like a legitimate product sales. Where is the scam?

Scam you have to be blind not to see that this is a scam a marketing tactics just to boost sales.... Sigh* sadly I'm wasting my time on an oblivious consumer that likes the short end of the stick, a person who gets the middle finger by the big companies so I-bid-you-a-due

Look man, I am being nice. Do I like the way things are, nah. But I understand it is a business, unlike you. If you think it is a scam, prove it. There are federal laws against scams. If you are too arrogant to see that the entire purpose of the 60 bundle is to entice new consumers then you are a blind fool. You are making a massive deal over, what 40 bucks. In a year if you have no gotten 140 dollars worth of entertainment from destiny, that sucks, but ... shut up and suck it up. Business is business.
