RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

Lv 28 PoE is considered a strike. 32 and above are considered to be raids, hence the rare shaders, ships, and Elder Cipher as rewards. And yes, that means you can do 32 for the Flawless Raider Acheivement/Trophy.

I'm not buying the next dlc. Maybe next year after I've had my fill of the other games coming out in November and later. Would be same price as new dlc anyway.

Just be happy we are getting another raid + 3 sub classes + more guns and besides the prison of elders is actually pretty fun anyway

But we did get repetitive poe with the only incentive to complete any of it is for etheric light. Crap guns with crap perks, crap entertainment value, mediocre at best armor. Wait a second... Why do i still play this game? I think you all just witnessed an epiphany.

3 Replies1. Season pass didn't advertise a raid in HoW. That's has literally been proven many times. If necessary I can find the photo yet again. 2. No one who spent a little time actually taking about it actually believed there was going to be a free raid before comet (now The Taken King). They told us that PoE was the end game activity for HoW.

1 ReplyHonestly this game is straight up dead to me. I was a little hyped for HoW and went at it pretty hard but PoE is just terrible. Loot sucks, it's the same old shit every week, and I just don't care anymore. Bungie has lost me there's nothing that will bring me back to this game for TTK. Anyone who buys it beware if you got bored with tdb and HoW I would expect the same from this dlc as well. Just not worth dropping money into this garbage pile anymore.

They never said there would be a free raid later. Most people expected the next raid to be included in the TK. It seems to me that people are getting more exited about the raid coming with the TK than they would if the last DLC had a raid. So I see your point.

I like prison... Just needs checkpoints... Trials has issues but is insanely fun when you get going... I'm ok without a raid with the amount of content they gave us combined with the obviously insane amount of effort they are putting into taken king.

They never promised a raid before HoW dropped, and the one they said they were working on is most likely TTK raid.

Honestly I don't care that much. I enjoy Prison of Elders. Sure I do like the VoG, CE not so much, but I don't think a raid is a necessity. I get that yeah we got baited and switched again, but idc about no raid
