Everything depreciates in value, destiny is no longer $60 and will be cheaper by September,
It's a good idea on bungies part to try and entice new players.

They are basically paying $20 for destiny, TDB, and HoW. No game would depreciate from $100 to $20 in a year.

It was never worth $100. And really it hasn't depreciated at all. It's $60 for that much content because people won't be getting 1000 hours out of 2 expansions and the base game like we did. They'll be able to buy light level gear that is consistent with the latest expansion. Plus, 6 weeks after the game's release is black friday, you can bet there'll be $49.99 Destiny sales going on.
