Well now that its the 16th of June here on the west coast, I have now been officially apart of this community for 6 years now.
Back in the day before I made a profile, I would skim through Bnet and look up information about Halo 3 and whatnot. I was young and a noob at the internet back then so I didn't know how to make a profile. Then I started to play Halo 3 online and I wanted to make a profile so I could have the Septagon logo next to my name. June 16, 2009 was when I made my profile and have been using the same one ever since.
Then I started to go on Bnet more and use my profile and browse the forums. This was my very first thread and post Eventually I would find my way to The Flood and remained there, attempting to be known within the community.
It worked and I ended up knowing some pretty cool people, some of which I still talk to and play games with to this very day. We had our own group on Bnet called "The Catalyst." Our group was getting big and we were causing alot of trouble and attention with a rival group called WAY, which was filled with tryhard Reach players such as Cossssta and Gamesagers who would always talk shit to others on the Reach Forum. We challenged them to a BTB match and it was getting hyped and talked about all over Bnet. The match ended up not happening. I doubt anyone here will remember that and if you don't, I don't blame you. Looking back, it was kinda stupid to be honest.
Our group stayed together until Bnext launched and that's when everything went downhill. A ton of our people left, even the ones I was closest too. I was the only one left from our group that stayed on Bnext. I wanted to leave because of the site update, but I couldn't do it. I always kept coming back.
I've met a lot of cool people here on Bnext that I didn't back on old Bnet. You guys know who you are :)
Here's to another 6 years!
