That's not the best argument because in Destiny's case the game is still being updated and then being sold for the same original price but with all the DLC put into it. Think of it like this, when a game comes out with DLC the DLC stays the same price but the game's price will continue to get smaller, however Destiny is still slightly new and is being sold for $60(online) at the current time. A few months isn't what makes a game and all of its DLC that is worth over $120 half of its price. Back to the statement that you made, Halo, Gears of War, and Fallout waited a lot of time for the price to get lowered and for the DLC to not make a large change in price.
