I love how many people on this forum have absolutely no idea how technology works.
As technology gets older, it loses value and becomes cheaper.
My family bought one of those nifty 46" projection TVs back in 1993 and it was almost 3 grand. Now today, you could buy 3 46" 4K TVs and still have enough left over to find one of those projection TVs in a garage sale/flea market.
When I first bought a DVD player it cost me around 400 dollars, now I could buy 10 of them for that price.
IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really wonder if people who post threads like these are really this dumb or are just posting to get a rise out of others.

Your examples are over a long period of time. This has been announced only 9 months after original release, that is not old in game years, especially considering 2 expansions at £20 a piece (yes in the uk we pay more than the U.S. Eg. £20 >$20) have been released in the mean time. So within a year, it is a significant reduction in price for a new customer. But it is business, key word is new customer and that's what they want. Very annoying for the people who have been here the whole time. But crying will not help. I will buy it anyway.

Fine...I'll give video game examples then... Mortal Kombat X went from 60 dollars to 41 dollars in 2 months. Bloodborne went from 60 dollars to 40 dollars in less than 3 months. Watch Dogs went from 50 dollars to 14 dollars in a year. The Order 1886 went from 60 dollars to 40 dollars in 2 months. Evolve went from 60 dollars to 21 dollars in less than 4 months. I could give many other examples but the way these forums look yesterday and today I wonder if some of the entitled crybabies around here think anyone who bought any of those games at launch should get a refund of the money they spent or something from free because of "loyalty"
