Games go down in price but let's work out the math here:
We paid $140 for the base game plus 2 DLCs
The new players are getting the base game plus 2 DLCs and the Taken King. The Taken King is worth $40, meaning that they are paying $20 for the base game plus 2 DLCs.
Simple math (140/20) means that we paid 7 times more than the new players have to pay for the base game and two DLCs. Sure, game prices go down, but they don't go down to be seven times cheaper. This is obviously ridiculous to discount one item by 7 times, so we assume that the Taken King is discounted and the original Year 1 bundle is discounted to where their cumulative price is $60, meaning the price of an upcoming item (Taken King) is being discounted meanwhile we pay full price. Basically the Taken King, which hasn't been even released yet, goes down in price and the original game goes down in price by a significant margin for both, or the base Year 1 game goes down seven times. Either way it doesn't work.
