So salty I think you could season my French fries.
Destiny is a great business move, not a great game. They don't give a damn how much you've spent, they want you to spend more. This is how they make more money. Get used to it. "Fair" doesn't matter. They'll do what needs to be done to make that money. Money PLAYERS are feeding them.
Face it, you got hustled. Activision is doing what their built to do: make money. You don't get pissed when a Ferrari goes fast do you? Either you're down with putting money into the game or you're not, but realise the moment you spend it on brand new Destiny, that's money you could have saved if you were patient.
In this market early adopters get screwed, and yet defying all reason and logic, they line up again for another ass pounding like they didn't get enough last time.
HYPE & HUSTLE. It's not personal, it's their business. "Fair" never bought a Bugatti.

Your Ferrari analogy doesn't make sense for your argument.

Activision = built to make money Ferrari = built to go fast They do what they're built to do, and any logical person expects them to.

Edited by Jake cant shoot: 6/17/2015 8:38:14 AMWere you a fan of bungie pre activision? If so how does this not make you sick to your stomach? Good business strategy or not. This is exactly the type of shit the promised wouldn't happen

I was a fan. This shit disgusts me...but it's not news to me either. If I support Destiny, I'm supporting an amazing business venture, not an amazing game. As you said, they gave the long standing fans every assurance they'd never sell out, and by not holding to that they broke any trust between myself and them. It's why I didn't pre-order the DLC, and still haven't bought it, and why I'm not going to pre-order TTK. They have to prove its as good as they say it is now, I don't trust them. Hustle me once shame on you, hustle me twice shame on me. I'll get a reliable review from a credible source, then make my decision if this business venture is getting more of my money.
