Well either your brother isn't telling you the full truth or the guy who kicked him doesn't know what he's doing. Once the round of skolas has started nobody can join unless you wipe and restart the round. So even if he kicked him after skolas died his friend wouldn't be able to join and get the rewards unless they started the whole round over. And IMO the best rewards drop instantly after skolas drops(ie. Primary with burns and elder ciphers) everything obtained after that can be received from 32 and 34.
