Here is my take on the situation-
I have no issues with the bundle price of TTK. Stuff depreciates in value over time, and this game is no exception.
I do, however, have an issue with the asking price of the DLC, and with the fact that there are in game exotics for the Collector Edition.
Firstly, the DLC price is too high. Bungie has shown that they are unable to deliver content equal to their asking price. This DLC was a perfect opportunity for them to prove that they can create a well-thought out, fairly priced(10-20 dollars) DLC. Instead, it just goes to show that Bungie will continue to deliver over-hyped, poorly planned dlc until this game dies.
Secondly, the ingame exotics for those who buy the collector's edition are dumb. The fact that these things are given to people who either just started supporting the game, or who were forced to shell out 80 bucks for some content that they already own is absurd. Vets are basically screwed in this area, as they have to shell out 80 dollars for content that they mostly already own. New players get the advantage, as they haven't supported destiny up to this point, and haven't spent any money. Essentially, these items need to be included in both the collector's edition and the veteran's packs.
From what Bungie has seen in the past, I doubt that either of the issues will even be mentioned. Bungie won't learn until it starts to lose players.
