Most useless perk ever IMO and it shows up in the overwhelming majority of my hand cannon rolls.
FFS who wants increased accuracy while airborne?! WHO I ASK YOU?!!
Also the New Monarchy vendor has literally disappeared from the tower and I am a bit concerned about him - has anyone seen him?
I'm serious I've not been able to see him or buy anything for a couple of weeks now. Anyone else having this problem?

It's for people who like to be ponies in the crucible

OK so based on these comments I'm going to give Icarus a go. Thanks for your input everyone!

Edited by CinReon: 6/17/2015 6:53:07 AMIt's really only for players who make a lot of use out of their jumping skills, I like Icarus on my Jewel of Osiris as I jump around a lot and I have noticed the accuracy bonus is substantially larger with Icarus than without. It's good for landing those few hits from above and finishing your target with a melee, most people in Destiny aren't good at reading the Radar so maps that allow high vertical movement in tight spaces(Like Twilight Gap for example)are the best for Icarus and jumping.

Ever played Halo? You used to jump and hit your enemies in your head. Can't do that in Destiny, but you can get close with Icarus. I personally like it. Makes for a powerful combination with the Jewel of Osiris.

Useless? I guess you never pressed the jump button before. Have you ever tried jumping and shooting before? You just about 0 accuracy and your bullet can go anywhere in the map. This perk changes that so you can jump and shoot. Your opponent expects you to stay grounded for a gun fight so being in the air is a huge advantage.

Everyone feel free to share your bet hand cannon rolls in this post as well - I have a Red Hand IX and soon I will have The Fulcrum as well and would like to know your opinion on which perks work best with these. Although the vendor Fulcrum looks pretty beast as it is!
-
Can it be rolled on a sniper. Trick shots?
-
Honestly, it's for Hunters and Warlocks. I spend a lot of time jumping around as a Hunter. That will double when I get my Bones of E-i-e-i-o. Warlocks hover.
-
Jumping and strafing heavily reduce your bullets accuracy. Hand cannons were the only guns after a buff that could be some what accurate while jumping. IMO having anything increase your accuracy on the move in a heavily movement based game is good to me.
-
Use with Airborne burn and the sun singer perk that lets hover while aiming.
-
At least it's more useful than the perks requiring you to be near death for a negligible benefit.
-
It's great!
-
I do. I do a lot of shooting while jumping

Just reroll your Handcannon... And I think that's a common glitch.
