I currently am sharing a PS4 with my brother. I have purchased a PSN subscription, as well as both Destiny expansions, with everything downloaded and activated through my PSN ID. However, my bro has always been able to access crucible, and all expansion activities without any problems.
I'll be moving out in the next few months, and I want to figure out if I can keep things in place so he doesn't have to go buy all the expansions and a PSN sub. I'm interested in getting the collector's edition of the Taken King, which would give me an extra copy of destiny plus the expansions, which I'm planning on giving to him. However we'd only have one copy of the Taken King. My question here is, if I put the Taken King on my PSN account on a new PS4, and if he plays on his own gamertag on our original PS4, would he still have access to everything? Same thing applies to if I renew my PSN sub on my PSN account, and I'm playing from my new PS4, will he still have access to everything since my PSN account would still be related to the first PS4?
This question is even more confusing trying to type it out than it was originally in my head, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to keep him connected without having to drop an extra 150+ bucks to keep both our sets of content intact.
Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks.
