So this guy was a complete asshole to my little brother...
JUST NOW MY BROTHER BEAT SKOLAS AGAIN-AND GOT REWARDS THIS TIME!
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now. He had just beaten Skolas with two other guys and IMMEDIATELY got kicked right after Skolas went down. Then, this guy invited his friend to get the rewards, and started being a complete dick to my little brother for no reason. My brother said they called him "really mean names," and I frankly don't want to think about what that could mean.
Why do people do this? I don't understand. I don't care if it's the Internet and people can be dickheads over anonymity, this is horrible. My brother shouldn't come to me crying because of some dickhead loser kicking him from the treasure room.
Edit: to those who don't believe me, check my bro's history "Donald Doge"
Edit 2: bro just told me he was kicked right after Skolas went down, so he didn't even get the drops. I had gotten that part wrong, but I edited it now
Edit 3: Someone researched this guy and apparently he's the Xbox Live version of KirmitTHEFrog, he kicks everyone and invites his friends after completing activities. I can't post gamertags, but if you could do me the favor of finding my bro's Skolas match from earlier today and report that guy, it'd be great
Edit 4: I can't believe this community. The kid who glitched and got his characters deleted got nothing but support, yet my brother who beat Skolas, got kicked AND cursed at by adults is being told he shouldn't have been doing that. -blam!-ing really guys? I'm done with this site. Yeah, I should've monitored it better, I'm doing that from now on, but seriously?! I doubt many of you have kids or younger siblings. Smh

All they give a damn about is the $$$ lining their pockets. They wouldn't do shot about it. Their response will be, " make friends on the third party site to form fireteam because we are too dumb and lazy to let you matchmake. Instead we'd rather put you through the trouble of searching sites for someone to run with and form a team only to find out they're assholes and kick you at their most opportune moment." Yes, I think a big FU should go out to those "super smart" devs at Bungie who don't think we need matchmaking or vault space.

This is why bungie needs to put it in place that once you get to skolas, you cant be kicked until the countdown after the chests is over.

It sucks if that happened but a couple things come to mind 1) if your browser is eleven he probably shouldn't be playing destiny especially with randoms online and 2) they guy that booted him after beating skolas couldn't have invited a mate for rewards because if they wiped so he could join the fight would have started over 3) maybe your bro just got error code and assumed he was kicked.

It's irresponsible of your parents to allow him to be exposed to the sort of language I use on a daily basis when playing video games. If I ever find myself in a game or chat with a Squeeker and I can't boot them, I mute them. I don't want to hear your high pitched nonsense and I don't want to burn your ears off with the usual topic of discussion amongst me and the people I game with. You want to solve this problem? Take away your brothers headset.

I have a baby sister only 2 years old so i have siblings but people these days i inderstand yoir steuggles and your brothws struggles its happened to me in trials i was with two of my friends friends (basically friends of friends) they invited me to play trials and they both left to fend for myself so i had to leave the game and got a loss luckily i didnt get banned

Reasons I don't believe it quite yet 1. You can't invite after Skolas death unless there is a wipe. This means they would have to redo the whole fight to get the rewards so inviting the friend after a kill would be useless 2. The Kermit the Frog of Xbox? Someone's asking for attention

I have 11 years old son who plays Destiny with me. Not so much lately, summer is at our doorsteps, so he's more in the park as he should be. To the point - why would you or your parents let him go to the parties with strangers? I have a bunch of friends that i met while playing Destiny and we had a gathering in my town, and i brought my kid. They are all nice guys and i let him play with any of them anytime he wants ( i am making sure that he doesnt bore them or whatever, he's a good kid, but still a kid ). I have met many great people in this game from my country, and from all over the world, and today, after like 10 months since the game is released, we still play it together whenever we had time. But also, there are all kind of trolls and assholes in this game and i would never let my kid play with randoms. There are all kind of people and i would not let anybody in real life, and even less on the internet to traumatize my kid. So if he can play with somebody that you play with, or someone that is his age, or his friend, fine, let him play. Otherwise, sp or crucible without party chat or different game. That's how i feel. One other thing - as a day one player and Destiny player that did so many times all the things that game has to offer - 1. Even if that guy kicked him from Skolas after they burned burned him, he would get elder cipher or a weapon, it drops instantly, i dont think that Flash would have time to kick him out before he gets that if he gets, its random anyway. 2. No one would be able to join afterward, the game just wouldn't him. Even if you want to join during Skolas fight, you can't. Your team has to wipe and you have a few seconds window to jump in and start the fight from the beggining.
