No. Microsoft is a portmanteau of the words microcomputer and software. The idea was to revolutionize computers and personal computers to have maximum computing power in a unit that was a fraction of the size of the computers of old. The name Microsoft has nothing to do with the size, prestige, or staying power of the company. Also, rebranding would be a bitch xD
