2 RepliesI've just tried it, the perk is working as intended now, you don't get super for a hit, but you get bonus super for a kill, the perls do not double stack either. Thank god for the fix.

Edited by Omega: 6/15/2015 11:37:29 PMI main three hunters and i only heard about this glitch about 2 days ago and i tried it out to see if it was good and it sucked so i went back to my normal blade dancer way. Now people arent understanding at all what we mean by it actually made it worse not only in pvp but in pve as well. It also affects warlocks as well. Example: lets say im playing my blade dancer and three guys were hurt capturing a point and i threw an arcbolt grenade, because of this patch since they made it to where i only get super energy from grenade kills but i have to wait 10 seconds after that grenade kill it means that now i will be only getting super energy from my grenade from the one person i killed instead of all three because i have to wait ten seconds starting from the first grenade kill making the other 2 give nothing to me. The same thing go for pve as well. If i kill lets say 7 enemys with my grenade and i killed one of them first and the others die from a burn of the grenade i will only get a tiny bit of super energy fir that first kill instead if getting energy from all of them. Before anyone starts getting salty about this i do understand that this was an annoying exploit that also made me lose a trials match as well. It was wrong but at least dont affect all of the other grenades as well with this cool down.

It's not meant to give you super energy for every little fragment of the grenade that hits, and that's what made it broken.

8 RepliesThanks to all you people who bitched about it in Crucible, now yet another Hunter exotic (one I've been using since before Crota's End for this ability in PvE), is now even MORE completely useless and will force me to go back to a crappy helm. Can you guess the exotic? You got it right.. Young Ahamkara's Spine is now useless. It is my favorite looking Hunter exotic and ever since I found this "exploit" for fast supers in PvE. Destiny has become a super fun game because hunters now had some like the Bad Juju and Obsidian Mind combo and it was very entertaining to explore with it. Now though, it's useless. And once more I have to use a dumb ass looking exotic helmet because those are the only "useful" (not really) hunter exotics out there now days. It's been great Young Ahamkara's Spine, but you have been nerfed into the ground and have lost any sense of use.

Tbh, its the people who exploited this glitch that should be blamed. If the news about the scatter grenade technique hadn't been passed around like note in class, it wouldn't have been a major issue. Sure people would still be pissed but because it would be used in moderation it wouldn't break crucible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was okay to be using it in the first place, but the users who are arguing, saying that the 'crybabies' ruined the perk? They really brought it upon themselves.

2 RepliesAin't no body to blame but the weak ass guys abusing it in pvp. If people had any kind of dignity or respect for fair play not to mention respect for their fellow guardians you could still have fun with it in pve. Yes it was bungies issue. I asume ot was faster for them to disable it, the way they did the perk on the black hammer, to give themselves time to fix the issue. They knew it was a problem, the players using it knew it was bullshit too. But everyone is always every man for themselves and don't care who they -blam!- over to get what they want. Pathetic.
