Should Thorn be nerfed? Or should the guns be buffed?

Guns should be buffed up to par with Thorn

Thorn should be nerfed

I have my own idea (insert below)

Make sure you watch THE ENTIRE VIDEO (take note I do not own the video in any way I just wish to see people's opinions about it) IMO I do believe he has a point since I'm pretty sure the second Bungie nerfs Thorn, its going to be Last Word, then Red Death, then Hand Cannons, etc. I wish to see what would happen if they buff other guns up to par with the Thorn, since so few other guns is required to go against it. It's either going to cause a more variety of guns to appear or its just going to cause everyone to keep using Thorn like nothing happened, or some other gun that is better then Thorn. Regardless if buffing the guns does not work then simply just reverse it to point that it will turn everything into marshmellow shooters. (Cough Auto Rifles Cough) Either way I want your opinions, since my voice cannot be heard alone, leave your opinions below, for the sake of balancing the crucible and pve. ( and please give a valid reason, not something like "auuggghhhh the Thhoorrrnnn isssss soooooo op" and "Thhhhoorrrrnnnn takes soooooooo much skill" otherwise you remind of her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAQBzjE-kvI ) Edit 1: I have yet to see anyone make a 15 paragraph long comment about why the Thorn should be nerfed lol. Keep those votes coming in and spread the word, Bungie needs to know. Edit 2: a guy known as Pyromancer tK has made somewhat of a similar post as too this one. Here is the link: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/127135206/0/0 also I should mention that there is over 100 votes on guns that should be buffed up too Thorn. Keep those votes coming in :) Edit 3: I should probably mention that this forum isn't for me entirely. It's more targeted towards those who talk about weapon balancing and nerf callouts. Also Bungie if they actually manage to read this and put this into consideration (maybe even put a comment in about the subject, that would be the day). BUT I will not stop you convincing me to believe what is better. Pretty much the reason why I made this post in the first place.

They should just put it back the way it was with the slow reload and 6 in the chamber. That way, it debilitates the thorn user the same way the gun debilitates those hit by it in terms of recovery time to get back into the fray. It also forces them to be precise with their limited ammo. I was shocked they even bothered buffing it to begin with. I did well with the old version of thorn. The new version is most definitely OP. But again, my main gripe with thorn is that the fast rate of fire, reload speed, and now 9 in the chamber rewards bullet spamming. And the dot happens on a body shot which basically takes you to a third of your health in one imprecise hit to the body. Moreover you can't recover until the dot ends so it further removes and punishes you from returning to the fray unlike any other gun in the game. My team and I strongly dislike using thorn because it is most definitely a crutch gun because of the aforementioned dot perk. In trials this week, we had to resort to using thorn to keep people on cauldron from pushing into the center room. Unfortunately our go-to Hawkmoon won't do that for you. It is most definitely a crutch gun at the moment. Take it back to 6 in the chamber and slow reload and you have something that tones it down and at the same time rewards someone with a precise hand. Right now it's geared for bullet spammers who can quickly reload after each engagement. If you have precision you can still engage 3 enemies before needing to reload with 6 in the chamber.
