A simple paging system would be a grand edition. Armor on page, Weapons maybe two pages, cosmetics another page. Consumables another page. Like it cant be that hard. Remove the space seperating armor and consumables and thats an extra 10-12 spaces right there, not to mention all the space from armor and consumable spaces. You do right bumper to scroll to inventory and then left and right trigger to scroll through pages. Its not that hard, and i bet with a system like that even last gen consoles could pull it, even with reduced spaces. And anytime they feel the need to expand the vault they just add more pages! Though they would need a way to hotkey certain synthesis otherwise using one in combat would be more of a nightmare.
