Got up 7 hours ago to play destiny. Couldn't even sign in.
-Performed soft reset modem/router
-Performed hard factory reset of modem/router
-Re-entered all Xbox live and Destiny port forwarding
-Ran firmware updates
-Hard lined my console directly into my modem via CAT-6
Nothing I've tried worked. So I played ESO and Warframe instead. Experienced no issues connecting to (and maintaining a connect to) their servers at all... Xbox live party chat is even being uncharacteristically reliable.
About every two hours I'd flip back over to Destiny and try to login. Got the cattle error code every time. Still getting it even now.
It has to be the servers, but haven't heard a peep about it on the forums. So yea, anyone else on east coast U.S. unable to connect to Destiny servers? I'm in Ohio to be specific.

Was getting the buffalo code last night trying to let someone try the game out. Got real mad at it. Then his 15 year old son came in and did whatever 15 year olds do to electronics and fixed it. Played flawlessly for as long as the kid cared to play. My point is have a kid. In 15 years you won't have to deal with this nonsense.
