How are people so good at sniping?!
I consider myself a decent sniper, but when I go into Crucible, I'm wrecked beyond belief. There are guys who headshot me the very second they scope in. It's -blam!-ing ridiculous! I don't understand how they do it!
EDIT: A lot of people are saying that they get their skill from Halo. However, I actually snipe very well in Halo, but not-so-well in Destiny.

I used to play on a level 8 sensitivity, and i rarely got headshots. I play on a 3 now, so it's easier to snipe and get headshots.

How do people snipe in a 1v1 sniper duel without any sniper glint as they strafe the corner? I can see their weapon up. Ive been noticing some guys and gals are staying scoped without any reflection whatsoever. Theres a reason for sniper glint and it sucks when you cant know not to walk there when theyre sniping.

Practice. Get a good sniper and practice. I used to be awful but now when my aim isn't crap I'll wreck. It feels so great.

Some rifles have bonus stats attached to them. Also, these snipers know where to be when people run by.

I used to suck but now all i do is snipe in crucible. I have a perfectly rolled pre how broken truth on my warlock that i use un every pvp match

Halo sniping and destiny sniping is more or less the same. Especially a 1v1 smiling since you can't quick scope after jumping well.

Finding a scope you really like is the main thing, most people go for the Ambush SLH25 (Second lowest zoom scope in the game) But for some reason on my old style FWC 'The Chosen' sniper that has a Tacsys SLS15 scope I can do really damn well with it, generally find a scope you like and stick with it.. That's what I've done and it's worked:)

I love playing peekaboo with snipers lol. Of course I lose just as often as I win(if not lose [i]more[/i] often) but you have to learn to feel joy in defeat in crucible. Most snipers are pretty afraid of dying and a few head shots from a rapid fire will make em go spazzy. The sound of my characters head exploding though... Goodness

Take sniping as if it were a different game. It's a side job. I learned a lot just watching good snipers that have good technique with lining it up

Practice took me a long ass time to get decent but the spear is the best way to go lol

Keyboard and mouse. A lot of people use it and all you have to do is point and click.

im not that great of a sniper either, but compared to other shooters im a lot better in destiny and halo than call of duty, for example.

You get used to where peoples heads are going to be, so just train your scope at that spot.
