How are people so good at sniping?!
I consider myself a decent sniper, but when I go into Crucible, I'm wrecked beyond belief. There are guys who headshot me the very second they scope in. It's -blam!-ing ridiculous! I don't understand how they do it!
EDIT: A lot of people are saying that they get their skill from Halo. However, I actually snipe very well in Halo, but not-so-well in Destiny.

I am new to sniping in Crucible also. It takes a helluva lot of skill to snipe in Destiny PvP *slightly less so for those who simply camp in a corner and snipe the WHOLE match* Sniper headshots are to date the most rewarding kills I've ever had. I can snipe fairly well but I prefer halo and a sniper rifle that's more than one shot at a time.

As has been said sniping is easy in this game, due to various reasons. The main reason being that the game uses hitscan for most everything. Also don't snipe 500 meters away in battlefield cause you are useless at that point. This is of course me assuming you aren't landing any shots and just plain not spotting targets for others at the least. You players that do that are literally the worst.

Sniping is so easy that a second grader can do it

Sniping is super easy in this game compared to some others, the only difficult thing is if someone hits you with thorn before you can aim properly. (At least for me) Just find a good spot, aim about where their head is going to be... and then poke out

1 ReplyI love sniping and to be honest ice breaker got me used to sniping and its always been a favorite in my secondary slot so using that led me to my most favorite efrideets spear which i love using in crucible and yes i have final round but im not an abuser

I learned it while completing the Thorn bounty. A sniper was the only secondary I had with Void on it, so I pretty much used it exclusively.

Sometimes I'm amazed where I can't believe it's skill and it must be luck me and another guy were blinking all over the place trying to kill each other then blam I'm dead by an icebreaker shot I had full health and shield. Was sat there gobsmacked he managed to hit a moving target in the head

*cough* glitches *cough* Sniping is stupid easy when you one-hit kill to the body every shot. I personally use snipers the glitch doesn't work with as I want people to KNOW they just ate a round.
