I thought the towel was to clean my clubs when the Titan was caddying for me on the golf course.

Yes that is true. Blood doesn't go well with armour plating. Rust and all that and it doesn't look professional if I walk around with the blood of my enemies splattered on my armour. I do have a collection of cloaks and bonds torn from my enemies though.
