One million people out of 17 million active population is a lot in my opinion. CoD barely has 3 million at a time, and its' population is dwindling.

In business terms for the video game industry, 1mil people playing out of 17mil copies sold is -blam!-ing abysmal. This entire industry [b][i]thrives on[/i][/b] high player retention for each game. High player retention means all-but guaranteed profits. If the player count dips too low, company's start thinking about pulling the plug if there's no obvious turn-around in sight. Now that the "season pass" has expired, how many people do you think will be back in September to give Bungie more money? I know I won't be one of them.

That's just in 3 weeks of house of wolves. Only speaking on the before mentioned. Ad the total was over 2 mil. Only a little over 1 mil actually beat skolas
