My controller was Hacked
No word of a lie. Last game I played in trials on my Titan. I wrecked some dude and his mate wasn't playing. All of a sudden as I go to shoot him my controller switches off. My headset went really really loud like I just turned all volume up.
The rest of the game i couldn't move until I left the lobby??

3 RepliesHappened to me. As soon as the match starts it glitches out and my controller stops working. It's on and I'm still talking to my team, I can still see the game normal. Couldn't move my guy or use any buttons. Tried switching controllers and it didn't work. Also wouldn't let me turn my console off. I had to do the reset and file the report to Sony. My team took them to round 9 with two people.

1 ReplyThis isn't a joke. This has happened to me twice now in the past two days. My screen drops to 0.5 FPS (a frame every two seconds) then my controller doesn't work. Light still on, but no inputs work at all (can't even get to dashboard). PS4 doesn't turn off, either, as I tried the manual turn off button/touch thing and it just beeps rapidly. Could still party chat with my team, however, despite Destiny's audio ceasing. Only solution I found was to remove the disc, and everything is back to normal. Shame it chalks that up as a loss in Trials when I'm the victim of a hack...

That's happened to me in Trials as well. I died, and then my game froze for a moment. When it unfroze, I had no game sound, and my controller wouldn't work. The light bar was on and everything. It just wouldn't work. I had to restart my PS4 to make it stop.

It's not hacked. It's happened to me outside of trials. I think it's a new bug from the last update.

1 ReplyNot sure if someone can do something like that without being close enough to interfere with the controllers wireless signal. It could have been some equipment near you that emitted a radio signal that threw your stuff off.

1 ReplyDuring iron banner something very similar happened to me. I wasn't kicked from match but my controller went completely dead, I couldn't even open the PS4 menu. I tried my other controller and it didn't work either. At the time I was the leader in points, we still won so if it was some sort of hack then blam you hacker.

2 RepliesDoes anybody know if being DDoS'd could freeze up your PS4? I was playing against a group and my PS4 froze when we were up 4-1, only time it's ever happened to me. Didn't know if it was console or cheaters though.
