Looking at the comments, you'd think people would be happy to help others. Apparently not. People think cause they go 9-0 in a video game that they're special. Lmfao. I've went 9-0 and would gladly do this. It doesn't matter if you're already flawless. Why not help someone out?

Ok I see now.... people are mad because they haven't made it to the lighthouse yet...
-
It isn't about being superior. Doing this is a crutch to those being helped........ People need to learn how to work for rewards...
-
this is a game, not work. so making this about anything other than people having fun, lol. there are neither extrinsic nor intrinsic rewards in this game, just wasted time.

I know right, "I went flawless in Destiny ToO there for I am a superior human being." Shut the hell up. If you win a gold medal in the Olympics your special, be part of a major scientific or technological break threw your special, hell you have any job that makes the world a better place your special. You grind a couple hours out on a game and think your a something unique... got news for you cupcake, your mommy and that person in the mirror are the only people who care. Now enjoy the game because it's fun, but put the ego in check and get out in the world and make a difference.

Sounds like you desire some form of a cookie for your belief system. Nothing wrong with losing on purpose if you want but I certainly wouldn't play to lose especially on purpose has nothing to do with wanting to be special.

Losing on purpose after it doesnt matter because i already went flawless that week, and to help someone out, sure why not.
Losing on purpose after it doesnt matter because i already went flawless that week, and to help someone out, sure why not.
Like I said you can play however you like it's that you think you have the right to call out others when you don't. I don't wanna play pvp to lose regardless of what's at stake. A desire to lose under any circumstance is foreign to me as I don't have that loser belief system. Pve can get all the help in the world and if I'm going to help in pvp it's going to be on my team but not to lose. Oh no no. I'd rather do my 3 flawless and retire for the week than lose for no good reason.

That's fine. I guess I just thought more people would be helpful than not.

Spider-Man don't -blam!- around. He beats kids at the playground in hoops just to dance in their face!!! Hail Spider-Man

Well what you are specifically expecting is for people to lay down for others to give up or to throw games for your opponent. Plenty of ways to help without compromising yourself

Mmmm cookie....

I'd rather them get there legitimately. I watched a terrible PvPer (and i mean... pretty bad when I first played with him) turn into someone who is now good at callouts, can watch my back adequately, and clutch a trials match through revives and baiting. He learned from me through trials and other flawless rund we tried to do. I admit, it was a somewhat carry and there were some "oh shit" moments, but the pressure really made him a good player.
