Just my 2 cents. I understand both points of view about matchmaking. For and against. However I tend to believe there is a bigger reason why there is no MM for high level content. A reason that developers don't want the community to know. It may be a very good reason indeed but something that's sensitive to the game and its future. I'm just saying if any community collectively requests something and is being denied, than the community needs to figure out why. This is not a matter of developers not able to fulfill requests, ...they just don't want to. And there is probably a good reason for it, just that we are not privie to it

One of the point is if it isn't optional many players don't want it. Soloing the weekly was one of my favorite things to do when my friends weren't on, now I can't. Every time they add something they have to consider what they are taking away. I say optional is the only way to go.

I agree it needs to be optional. I never played the weekly until they added matchmaking. Now I play every week.
