Dear Community,
For the old school Halo players, you will probably remember this. Bungie Pro, a yearly fee of $5, enabling players to have access to 24 file share slots, plus additional space for screenshots and films. I personally, would be more than willing to pay a small fee for additional vault space, thus allowing me to save all of the precious and sweet gear I have collected since day 1. Perhaps it could double the vault space or expand it even further than that, at least for current gen console owners (Xbox One/PS4). Imagine not feeling forced to dismantle something, which you end up regretting later, or feeling extremely annoyed when getting new engrams but all your characters and vault is completely full, thus making the process a bigger pain in the neck.
Would you pay a small one time fee via a micro dlc (similar to COD and the additional loadout slots) to have more vault space? Feel free to share your thoughts on the matter, but keep it clean! :D
EDIT: I know most of you, including myself want extra vault space at no additional fee, especially with the upcoming DLC being $40, however I do not know if Bungie would realistically do so without charging for it, plus the expense [on their end] to pay for additional cloud servers. What do you guys think?
EDIT2: Also, if you DO WANT additional space, whether it is free or not, please vote for that option.
if you DO NOT WANT additional space regardless of whether it is free or not, please vote for that option
EDIT3: Thanks to all who have participated, I am glad to see how many of you are weighing in on the matter. Hopefully Bungie has seen this, so feel free to give the thread a like and share it around a bit so we can collect more data.
I really want to get a feel for the community's opinion on the matter, and also to let Bungie know how we feel so please vote, thanks for your time! :D

Who doesnt want more space
-
He's from Activision... Its a trap!
-
I would pay five dollars once for unlimited vault space. That is all I would pay.

You need Bungie Premium™ in order to view this post. If you wish to receive Bungie Premium™, please bend over and insert your credit or debit card firmly between your buttocks. Bungie apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Honestly the extra vault space is just like the rest of the content in the game already on the disk but locked behind a future pay wall DLC FUK ACTIVISION AND BUNGIE
Would you pay a small one time fee via a micro dlc (similar to COD and the additional loadout slots) to have more vault space?
Micro-transactions incentivize developers to make games shitty on purpose. I would rather developers keep making games like "Destiny" shitty on accident.
-
I personally wouldn't mind paying for much more extra vault space, although a freebie would be great. Let's say they did have a micro dlc for this, would I be able to pay for one and then put it on both my ps4s for two separate psn accounts? Like you can with the expansion pass
-
Nope. I'm more than willing to deal with the space if I don't have to pay for it
-
I would pay for it because I am stupid, but it would be a dirty move to make us pay for more space.
-
No I already paid for a game with tons of stuff stripped and resold to me as DLC I should at least be given vault space for free if Destiny ever gets Micro Transactions I will flip shit and finally leave. That would be the nail in the coffin for me.
-
I'm pretty sure the reason we don't have massive amounts of vault space is because the last gen consoles don't have enough ram space. (Wasn't some feature disabled on 360 and ps3 to allow the vault space we just got?) If this is true, then the only way to get what we all need, as far as vault space, is for bungie to drop last gen support which probably won't happen till destiny 2.
-
File share slots? Huh? I thought this was about Vault Space. Also, I store all my screenshots and vids on my console, why do i need extra space for that?
-
Nah Technologically impossible according to Bungie themselves Last gen holdin it back
-
No. They have enough of my money.
-
I'm not paying for something that should already be there. Vault space should definitely increase, it's old gen holding us back.
-
Why the hell should people who've payed for destiny and the season pass have to pay anything whether it be a penny or $100000000000000 for some more vault space?
-
one time yearly fee
That doesn't make sense
-
Vault space will be a determining factor for me in the next DLC. I'll wait and see what happens.
-
I don't believe the comments made about last gen memory limiting vault space - I write code all day every day and that doesn't even make sense. I do believe it would take more re-write time to change the UI which in development terms would equal investment for little to no return for them . I'd be ok with the former arrangement of a "pro" service to store things, even if it was more of a long-term thing or a separate vault that was a bit more cumbersome to access - it would cost them to develop it and not part of the original project scope. If I remember right Bungie pro was a whopping $5/year
-
I remember this... Yes, but... As it is, the game makes you pay enough already, I mean.. $40 DLC we got coming up? Vault space should be free. Additional "cloud" vault space should be free. The atmosphere was different back then, Bungie was better then, as opposed to now.

Edited by TheUnknown_174: 6/11/2015 5:01:35 PMOr they come just increase the vault space for everyone. I mean, come on, are we supposed to start dismantling raid weapons now?

Thoughts friends?
