I'd wait on Fallout 4. New Vegas had so many game breaking bugs and freezes, not to mention all the problems Bethesda had with Skyrim. Bethesda has joined Activision as 2 companies more interested in profit than releasing quality titles, that are actually playable.

Bethesda games have always had...issues...at launch. I've been playing them since Morrowind, and have yet to see one come out without problems. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, and New Vegas all required updates and patches. I still loved playing them.

But not all were ever fixed enough to be enjoyable. New Vegas is still bug riddled today and nearly unplayable. And the whole, save your game every 5 minutes is ridiculous.

Oh well I really just liked Fallout 3 never played Vegas

I just do trust Bethesda to make improvements and release patches in a timely manner. After playing the Witcher 3 for a couple of weeks I'm happy with CD Projekt Red, they've released patches and made improvements to an already great game and keep supporting it with free DLC and extra missions.
