I think that ESO will save destiny for me. I was playing last night and owning on crucible after but just felt unfulfilled. Iv spent a lot of time on destiny and think that it is a top notch AAA rated game, but I need another game to play as well before I am completely burnt out. I don't understand the mentality of having to commit to one game... it's not a spouse/partner... your meant to get there things from them...

I'm starting tomorrow morning. We'll see if it kills it for a day one player with 1600 hours in. If Gjallarhorn is there in the morning I'll play destiny until It's 365 and I beat 35 3 times.

well.. it pretty much took out our entire clan.. everyone who was playing here, is now playing there ( i've tried.. will probably try again, since destiny isn't meant to be played solo, and everyone's playing ESO now.. but i'm a sci-fi guy.. D&D/Fantasy hasn't ever interested me that much

10 RepliesI havent logged in to destiny since I got eso but I have been playin destiny non stop since release so I think a break is in order plus I doubt destiny will die from any one game people will come and go as they please but their will be someone on destiny.

I don't think the fan base is really the same. Destiny is after all a FPS that appeals to players who wanted something more from the genre. ESO is more of a traditional fantasy RPG. If any games are likely to draw people away, my guess would be Battlefront or more likely The Division.
