What Happened?
Edit: And for all of those asking, yes ESO is out now.
-
Didn't know it came out
-
What Happened?
ESO killed ESO
-
I didn't get it, and still play Destiny. But noticed a significant number of my friends list playing it. Just reporting.
-
Did it come out already? I didn't notice.
-
ESO is a joke... pick a better game
-
My friend list took a
GIANT SHIT
I play both. Im glad the mmos are on Xbox now. I can switch between the two for content updates :)

Edited by ProjectRahman: 6/11/2015 2:30:59 PMESO did take a lot of players away from destiny for now. This is due to HoW. The problem with HoW is that it handed everything to us. Etheric light is way to easy to obtain and the fact vendor gear can take you to 32 without a single upgrade is ridiculous. If you have three characters you can get up to 21 etheric lights a week. I made a titan and got it to 34 in 2-3 days. Even though crotas end had much less content it lasted longer because of the grind, a reason to keep you coming, shards, energies, gear drops. HoW gave a good amount of content but there is no real reason to play them. The primary weapon drops from Skolas are really really bad and why should you bother going to the lighthouse if you have obtained every weapon? Anyway I just think they should've made etheric light and gear harder to obtain (not a big fan of ascending gear). I just miss getting drops from VoG and crota don't really like just purchasing it from variks/brother vance. This just my opinion, still love and play Destiny so no hate.

Turned out to look like a PS2 game.
-
Their 2 servers are pretty sick

Edited by Jeff the Cabal: 6/11/2015 4:44:11 PMGraphics are not their strong point, but it's still a pretty nice game. Although I still prefer destiny over it.
-
Destiny can't be killed by any game. It's crucible will keep it going strong for however long it takes for the next dlc to drop.
-
They should have just put it on the regular systems, I would have actually bought it then. I havnt played a computer game since runescape and that was back in middle school haha
-
I haven't tried today but I couldn't even log into the north American servers yesterday. Eveidently they were taken down for work due to connection errors. I don't think anything will kill destiny, I feel like there's a dedicated player base that will always come back. People might take breaks to play recently released games, but some people will always come back.
-
Destiny players killed ESO, that's what happened.
-
Every new game is gonna "kill" Destiny lol
-
I play destiny to help a friend or two once in a while but I play so many other games that put destiny in the dust. Game is still boring as hell once u finish the 2 hours of content the put out there
-
I got it last night around 8pm and the install and 15gb update took so long I went to bed without even starting the game..
-
ESO killed ESO over a year ago.
-
You thought that any thing other than Destiny can kill Destiny.
-
Played the beta of eso and hated it.
-
Nothing will kill destiny. ESO is really fun and I can't wait to play the shot out of it but I'll always play back and forth with destiny and any game.
-
Lol servers don't work. My friends tried playing ESO Yesterday and they couldn't connect because the servers sucked.
-
Witcher 3 has managed to do it for me, then I'll move onto Just cause 3, fallout and uncharted.

Edited by The Knight Aurora: 6/11/2015 3:44:47 PM* prison shanks Destiny* There, all done.
