What Happened?
Edit: And for all of those asking, yes ESO is out now.
-
ESO wasn't that great on pc, idk why people thought console would be much different.
-
ESO has been out since April 4, 2014 as a subscription based game. They changed the title and released it for the consoles now June 9th. The sub was dropped and as of last month only had roughly 7k players. I played it when it came out then, quit before the free month ended. Game is cool at first, but got boring pretty fast. This is nothing new.
-
It took over 3 hrs to install ESO. I've just started playing it and it's a good game. If you liked Skyrim you will like ESO. I do think Destiny is better though.
-
Destiny 2 will kill Destiny
-
They always say that to make themselves feel cool, if they even left they'll be back.
-
Nobody ever said that...
-
Why is destiny still a broken game?
-
ESO was a flop a long long time ago
-
I wasn't even paying attention to ESO's release date
-
I left destiny for ESO.....
-
I played on PC, thought about seeing what they changed, and then remembered how horrible that experiance would be on a console without text chat...
-
The 1 hour login time, the net's not spawning, glitches everywhere, lag spikes. Yeah its not gonna do a thing
-
ESO looks like garbage. Ill skip it.
-
Lol :) nice
-
Here's a crazy idea, if you like both play both.
-
It did for the people that have moved to play it. When they get to the end game content they'll move on to something else like most of the PC players did. The only factor to consider is which unbearable grind-fest of old content will win once they've got there...

Edited by GreenD614: 6/11/2015 8:48:39 PMI have ESO on PC and its boring. By the time you're half way through the story, you're just skipping dialogue to hurry and get back to the game. The story is no where near as good as other Elder scrolls games. And you better buy the imperial version to get that dumb horse or you'll be walking or running for your first 20 hours of the game...
-
I won't buy ESO because it's a sad, watered down version of Skyrim that looks just like WoW. If there was perhaps a release of another elder scrolls game that wasn't an MMO, you better believe I'd be dropping Destiny like it was hot. At least for a little while. Till the next expansion.
-
I don't know what it is with all the the is game will kill this game and blah blah. People play what they like. If they don't like destiny they won't play it. I've switched back and forth between dark souls 2, bloodborne, and destiny. I'll probably play the new batman game when it comes out too. Definitely gonna play fallout 4 though. That one might actually end my destiny playing for good.
-
Destiny killed destiny
-
EOS looks too daunting and tedious. I don't need another giant time sink.

Edited by CarpentryHero: 6/11/2015 5:50:51 PMEveryone I've played with over the last three days talk about ESO non stop.... While playing Destiny. Not one is hey we should go play it No one is asking how to do anything on it. I'm unsure if any of them have even finished downloading it. LOL no thanks Edit: GrandTheftAuto's heists was a bigger distraction than ESO
-
ESO almost killed Itself, how could it even hinder another game?
-
Ha, somebody actually said that ESO would kill Destiny? Lol, that's rich!
-
Edited by Trokia: 6/11/2015 9:13:49 PMHere's the thing with mmo's. When one comes out and people jump on they always look at the next one and day there's the killer of this one. The thing is this game has been out a while and the people here still are going to be the hardest ones to leave. I left for a good 3-5 months buy am now enjoying it again. Wow's been dying for 10 years now if that gives you an idea of how it works.

It's a cheap imitation elder scrolls.. that looks super dated and puts kids to sleep.
