It probably killed it for the people that wanted to switched to ESO... I've played Destiny once since ESO came out. People just need to pay attention to the fact that not everyone shares their game preferences. There will always be some people around until Destiny 2 comes out. However, certain games will pull groups of players away from destiny a little bit at a time. Then their will probably be a surge back towards Destiny with new content... I'm sure people were thinking Destiny would kill COD. It's still around, but a lot of people left and started playing Destiny when it first came out. Now, plenty have gone back to COD since the last game release.

I have been playing ESO lately. I [i][u]Might[/u][/i] come back to destiny for the next nightfall (and of course If Xur sells anything good). I am just tired of Destiny right now, but I will come back eventually.

They are 2 different games. You have destiny with guns and grenades and supers and then you have Elder scrolls with swords and bows and magic. I personally like elder scrolls more but a lot of people love guns. Elder scrolls is a better mmo but destiny might run better. They are 2 different games which cannot kill one another.

3 RepliesIt did. Look at these forums, it's been nothing but the same people posting over and over. Everyone else has moved on. Destiny was good, but we all knew it was just a middle-man to keep us entertained while the 'real' games were being produced.

Fallout 4 will, for me at least. Fallout 4 will be Bethesda's BIGGEST project; the map size will be bigger than any ES map combined. Plus you get to make your own weapons, power armor, AND bases!

It's only dead to the people who also like different game franchises. Since I won't be getting ESO it won't kill destiny for me. Since I don't like CoD it won't kill destiny either. Now when halo 5 comes out that might make me branch from destiny but you get it.
